HopelPopel Scottish Terriers
Ch HopelPopel Velma of Fireheart

Velma was our first champion from our breedingand we are so proud of her.
She is the ultimate Scottie and continues to turn heads where ever she goes.
Back to the beginning; as Gail began to ponder a  suitable  first breeding for her Moxie many
stud dogs came to mind.  Then one day, Gail saw a very  handsome  dog with an incredible body, coat and stance.
The dog took Gail's  breath away. The dog was Fireheart's Guns and Roses (Axel).   Two pups were produced from
the breeding, HopelPopel Rose of Dundee(Maisie) and HopelPopel Velma of Fireheart.  Axel went on to an
incredible show career .

"E-Vels" finished  her championship with several majors to her credit.
At home, she enjoys  sitting by the big oak tree  for hours patiently waiting for a squirrel to emerge.
She continues to supervise all the activities at Highgrove.  On April 16, 2007 Velma gave birth
to a singleton, puppy our Calah who was recently awarded her AKC and UKC championships .
Her second trip to the nursery produced another singelton,  our Prince who will be starting his show
career this Winter.  Her final trip to the nursery has produced two fine, straping boys.
