Mr. Jasper is our "once in a lifetime dog".  Our first showdog, "Bumbles" pretty much showed himself to the point that judges overlooked my novice mistakes to award him wins over  some of the best dogs of the time.  At age eight he is still in top form.  He has an incredible hard, jet black coat, a fabulous headpiece with a correct dark eye and short back.   A real showman in the ring, he could spar with the best of them.  At night in strange hotel rooms, he would sit up at the edge of the bed all night to "protect " me.  I still don't know how he had the staminia the next day to show like gangbusters... I think it was out of love.
Around the house, Jasper is the ultimate gentleman.  Our girl Scotties steal his food, his toys and treats but never a complaint do we hear.  He allows the girls to enter a door before him and allow them to drink  first from the water bowl after a long walk .
Jasper lives the jet-set life spening some of the year here in Massachusetts and with our daughter Annette in Colorado.
